Welcome to the Exchange of Services (EOS) platform. These terms govern your use of our website and services. EOS connects UK businesses, sole traders and freelancers who want to exchange services with each other instead of paying cash.

By using our Services, you agree to these terms.

Membership: The service is 100% free to use for all parties looking for an Exchange of Service.

Account Status: Accounts may be classified as 'Claimed' (verified by email), 'Unclaimed' (not yet verified), or 'Archived' (closed/removed).

You are responsible for safeguarding your account password and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Duration: Exchange requests stay open until you close them or accept a proposal.

Conduct: When posting an exchange request, you must not include phone numbers, URLs, or email addresses in the public description. Communications should be managed through the platform's channels.

Matching: Users are matched based on Service Sectors and Location. We respect privacy, so not all users are displayed in search results; some may receive notifications instead.

EOS introduces members and hosts their conversations. Any agreement to exchange services, and the work itself, is between the members involved. Agree the scope, deadlines and what each side provides in your message thread before you start.

The service is free. There are no fees, credits or commission on exchanges. If we introduce paid features in future, we will tell you before they apply, as set out under Changes.

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified with at least 30 days notice where possible.
